Why not experience clinical work in paradise?
Are you learning to be a vet for the right reasons? Do you want to experience first hand, the joys of helping those animals that really need it? Come to Thailand and have the work experience of a lifetime with PhaNgan Animal Care (PAC).

PAC accepts veterinary students seeking work experience, and will accept a maximum of two veterinary students at the same time. We have structured the position to maximise benefits to both the student and the clinic staff. This workload is quite high, and there is always a need for a spare pair of willing hands to help out. All assistance is very gratefully received and provides rich rewards to the volunteer.

PAC’s nurses have independent control of the clinic and are responsible for all patients, carrying out a wide range of medical and surgical treatments. There is an enormous amount to learn from PAC’s nurses, most especially being the art of clinical deduction and diligent anaesthetic monitoring in the absence of expensive equipment. It is truly a worthwhile clinical experience! In addition, especially in the absence of an extra volunteering nurse, vet students provide valuable assistance to PAC’s nurses in dealing with the (often high) clinical workload, and are scheduled for times when that help is most required.
