Run by Jill Robinson in Hong Kong, the AAF has been a forerunner of Asian Animal Welfare improvements. With many projects throughout Asia, the most famous is AAF's work with the moon bears in China - not only have they succeeded in rescuing over 135 bears, they have succeeded in initiating legislation for the protection of these animals country-wide.

Dog Rescue Center Samui
Run by Brigitte Gomm on Koh Samui, this organisation has made huge efforts in the sterilisation and vaccination of Koh Samui's animals. Through their efforts, the yearly governmental cull (by indiscriminate poisoning) has been avoided on Chaweng beach. More impressively, their work has resulted in Thailand's first labeled "Rabies Free Zone"!
Personal Overseas Development (POD) finds and places volunteers with PAC, to fill the Clinic Assistant position. Volunteers pay a stipend to POD for the organisation of their placement, a percentage of which is donated to PAC.
